.:What's the difference between Tournaments & Ladders?

Tournaments are generally massively sponsored for major prizes (some examples listed above).

Ladders are similar to tournaments, but it is as if you are already at the very top for a final faceoff. It is a "mini-tournament" for sponsored Prizes.
